Netanyahu Hails ‘Unprecedented’ Strike on Houthis, Vows to Hunt Down Leaders

by admin477351

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed an “unprecedented” strike on the Houthis that killed their prime minister, vowing that Israel will now hunt down the group’s entire leadership. “We are doing what no one has done before us,” Netanyahu declared after the raid.
The attack was a direct response to the Houthis’ sustained campaign of launching missiles at Israel and disrupting global trade, which they claim is in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. The Israeli leader has promised that this is “just the beginning.”
The successful elimination of Ahmed Ghaleb Al Rahwi from 2,000km away showcases a dramatic improvement in Israeli intelligence. However, the mission’s primary target, the Houthi chief of staff, was not killed, making the victory a partial one.
The Houthis have responded with threats of vengeance, ensuring that the conflict will continue. While the strike will force the group’s leadership into hiding, security experts doubt it will be enough to stop their attacks on Israel.
